Overview

Jack is a beautiful red/golden boy with a white flash on his head and chest and a speckled nose. Jack has the most stunning amber eyes. He is chocolate based with a chocolate nose, this means he can be mated to all colours of female and produces beautiful colours. He caries and can produce stunning colours such as sable, chocolate & tan, various roans as well as deep reds and goldens!

Temperament

Jack is such a good natured boy and very gentle with the Ladies although he knows his job very well indeed. Jack loves to run, sometimes he just runs laps around the field, the other boys try to keep up with him. He has a fun loving nature and loves games, toys and treats. He settles nicely too and enjoys a snooze on my knee after play time. He's a ray of sunshine!

Health

Jack has had all the relevant health checks and more including extensive DNA and fertility testing.

Jack is DNA tested with a CLEAR result for all 6 conditions relevant to the Cocker Spaniel Breed. These are:

•Progressive Retinal Atrophy (PRCD - PRA) – CLEAR

•Familial Nephropathy (FN) – CLEAR

•Acral Mutilation Syndrome (AMS) – CLEAR

•Degenerative myelopathy (DM) – CLEAR

•Phosphofructokinase deficiency (PFKD) – CLEAR

•Exercise-induced collapse (EIC) – CLEAR

Booking

Ideally you should give me a call as soon as you notice your girl is in season so I can reserve Jack for the appropriate time. We are very flexible though and can often accommodate short notice mattings so it’s always worth giving us a call.

Fee

The stud fee for Jack is £350 and is due on the first successful mating. You are welcome back for a second mating. We offer a free cytology test on the first mating. We can then judge where your bitch is up to within her ovulation cycle and advise what day would be best for a second visit. This will give her the best possible chance of pregnancy. There is no charge for the cytology test and no charge for a second visit . You will be provided with a copy of the stud dogs Kennel Club 5 generation pedigree along with his health test certificates and photos to show to your puppy buyers. In the unlikely event that your girl does not become pregnant, as a gesture of good will we can offer a revisit on her next season free of charge.
